What is Innovation vs Invention?

Innovation is the process of commercialising an invention. This means that an invention, while representing a novel idea, technological advancement, or any new creation, does not automatically qualify as an innovation. The crucial element is commercial success – the ability to generate profit from the invention.

The Necessity to Innovate

Every market is filled with commodities, and any first-mover advantage now lasts just one to two years before competitors catch up.
